Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bowling Buddy Pro mobile application (the "App") operated by Bowling Buddy Pro ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using your email address or a supported sign-in provider (Google, Apple). You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of bowling video analysis and improvement. You must not:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others
• Use the App to harass, stalk, or intimidate other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or other users' experience
• Upload content that contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Use the App for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized by us

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the videos, session data, and other content you create and upload through the App ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Store and process your videos for AI analysis
• Display your content back to you within the App
• Create backups as part of our normal operations

We do not share your User Content with other users or third parties except as necessary to provide the App's services (e.g., sending videos to AI analysis). You are solely responsible for the content you upload.

5. AI Analysis

The App uses artificial intelligence to analyze bowling videos and provide feedback. You understand and agree that:

• AI analysis results are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only
• Results may not always be accurate or complete
• AI feedback should not replace professional coaching or instruction
• We do not guarantee any improvement in your bowling performance

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, content, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our written permission.

Articles and educational content provided within the App are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced or distributed outside the App.

7. Subscription & Payments

The App may offer free and premium tiers. If you subscribe to a premium plan:

• Payment is processed through the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play)
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled by the respective app store per their refund policies

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
• We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App
• Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• We may delete your account data, including videos and session history
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
