Bowling Buddy Pro ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Bowling Buddy Pro mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers.
Bowling Videos: When you record bowling sessions through the App, the video files are uploaded to our cloud storage for AI analysis. Videos are associated with your account.
Session & Analysis Data: We store your bowling session data including analysis results (scores, findings, and tips), session dates, camera angles, and notes you provide.
Bowling Profile: Information you provide about your bowling experience, including skill level, bowling style (hand, ball type), average score, and goals.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the App, including pages viewed, features used, and app performance data.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the App's functionality
- To analyze your bowling videos using AI and provide personalized feedback
- To track your bowling progress over time
- To personalize your experience (articles, tips based on your skill level)
- To improve the App and develop new features
- To communicate with you about your account or the App
3. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services provided by Google to operate the App, including:
- Authentication services: To manage user sign-in and account security
- Cloud database and storage: To store your account data, session data, analysis results, and uploaded videos
- AI analysis services: To analyze your bowling videos and generate scores, findings, and improvement tips
These services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Your bowling videos are sent to AI services for analysis purposes only and are not used to train AI models.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on cloud servers located in the United States. We implement security rules to ensure that only you can access your own data. All data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time through the App's settings screen or by visiting our account deletion page. When you delete your account:
- Your account information is permanently deleted
- All bowling sessions and analysis results are permanently deleted
- All uploaded videos are permanently deleted from cloud storage
Deletion is irreversible and typically completes within 30 days.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
